What’s Happening?
Here are a few things coming up in our ministry . . .

Get ready to bring the energy, the whimsy, and your absolute best game face. The Bash is kicking off the Wilmot Youth year with an epic, small-group-versus-small-group battle where only one team will take home ultimate victory.

A Resource For You
If you've ever found yourself stepping in to finish your child's project, jumping to fix a minor meltdown, or thinking "it's just faster if I do it myself," Dr. Jeffrey Bernstein’s article, Overparenting: The Hidden Trap That Can Keep Kids from Thriving, is a must-read.
As parents, our instinct is to protect and support. But Dr. Bernstein—a veteran child psychologist—explains how well-intentioned over-helping can accidentally send an unspoken message to our kids: “You can't handle this without me.” Over time, rescuing them from small struggles prevents them from building true confidence and resilience.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how hard is it for you to let your child experience natural consequences? Email me your number (and your biggest challenge if you're up for sharing)!
